Accountability for the writer means putting pressure on yourself to get the writing done. It means setting up your work so you have someone else to answer to.

Here's another one for those of us with day jobs who hope to eventually move to fulltime writing:
8. Take a picture of yourself at work (as in while you still work in an office somewhere). See how sad you are? Now hang that over your writing desk to remind yourself what you could be doing again if you don't write.
