How to Tell People You're Not Blogging For Awhile

Aside from leaving your site to wither and die, how do you tell your readers that you've gone on walkabout (or whatever)?

I thought this was a cute "out of the office" message from Kimberly Wetherell:

Gone Scribblin':

Hey y'all! I'm deep in the throes of rewrites for A Pretty Girl right now, so please forgive my lack of blog-osity.
